MANAGED IT SERVICES

Your IT Team,
Without The Headcount.

We take on your day-to-day technology — helpdesk, laptops, Microsoft 365, networks, backup and security — so nobody in your business has to be the reluctant IT person any more.

THE MODEL

What Is A Managed IT Service?

A managed IT service means one company takes ongoing responsibility for your technology for a flat monthly fee, instead of you calling someone in whenever it breaks. We monitor, patch, secure and support everything — and we're measured on how little goes wrong, not how many hours we bill.

  • One team, one number — no working out whether it's the laptop, the network or the software vendor.
  • Fixed monthly cost — per user, so your IT spend is predictable and scales with headcount.
  • Proactive, not reactive — patching, monitoring and backup checks happen before you notice a problem.
  • UK-based people — you speak to engineers in the UK who know your setup by name.
What it is
Fully outsourced IT support and management for your whole organisation
Best for
5–250 staff with no in-house IT team, or one stretched too thin
Response

Commitment
Rolling monthly contract, per-user pricing, no lock-in

COVERAGE

What We Look After

Four areas, all included. We take the whole estate rather than cherry-picking the easy parts.

01

People & Devices

Laptop and desktop provisioning, imaging, updates, encryption and asset tracking — plus the human support behind them for every member of staff.

02

Microsoft 365 & Apps

Licensing, mailboxes, SharePoint, Teams, permissions and the line-of-business applications your work actually depends on.

03

Network & Connectivity

Firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN and internet circuits, monitored around the clock with alerts we act on rather than forward to you.

04

Security & Backup

Endpoint protection, patch management, MFA, backup and tested restores, mapped to Cyber Essentials expectations.

CAPABILITIES

What's Included

01 Support & Service Desk

Service Desk

Phone, email and Teams access to UK engineers, with every request tracked and nothing lost between people.

On-site Visits

Scheduled or reactive attendance when a problem genuinely needs hands on hardware.

Onboarding & Offboarding

New starters ready on day one; leavers fully deprovisioned the same day for security.

Asset Management

A live inventory of what you own, what it costs and when it needs replacing.

02 Infrastructure & Cloud

Microsoft 365 Management

Tenant configuration, licence optimisation and the governance most tenants never get.

Server & Virtual Estate

On-premises, hosted or Azure workloads kept patched, monitored and capacity-planned.

Network Management

Firewall and switch configuration, segmentation, VPN and remote access.

Backup & Recovery

Automated backups with restores tested on a schedule, because untested backups are just hope.

03 Security & Compliance

Endpoint Protection

Managed antivirus and EDR deployed consistently across every device, not just the ones people remember.

Patch Management

Operating system and third-party patching on a defined cycle with reporting you can show an auditor.

Identity & Access

Multi-factor authentication, conditional access and least-privilege permissions as standard.

Cyber Essentials Support

The evidence, configuration and documentation needed to reach and hold certification.

04 Strategy & Reporting

Technology Roadmap

A rolling plan for renewals, upgrades and improvements so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Service Reporting

Monthly reporting on tickets, response times, patch status and backup success.

Budget Forecasting

Clear visibility of upcoming hardware, licence and project costs.

Vendor Liaison

We deal with your software and telecoms suppliers so your team doesn't have to.

SUPPORT TIERS

Pick The Level You Need

All tiers include monitoring, patching and the service desk. The difference is how far we go and how fast we respond.

Essential

Business hours · per user

Service desk, device management, patching, endpoint protection and backup. Suits small teams whose tools are mostly cloud-based already.

Complete

24/7 · per user

Everything in Standard plus round-the-clock cover, priority response, on-site visits included and quarterly strategy reviews.

ONBOARDING

Your First 90 Days

1

Discovery & Audit

We document what you have — devices, licences, network, backups, risks — and tell you plainly what we find, including anything uncomfortable.

2

Stabilise

We fix what's actually broken or exposed first: failing backups, missing patches, weak identity settings, unsupported hardware.

3

Standardise

Monitoring, protection and patching rolled out consistently across the estate, with documentation your team can read.

4

Improve

Monthly reporting and a rolling roadmap, so the estate keeps getting better instead of drifting back.

QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do managed IT services cost in the UK?

Managed IT is normally priced per user per month, and the figure depends on your tier, device count and whether you need out-of-hours cover. We quote a fixed monthly fee after a short discovery call so there are no hourly surprises. Rolling monthly terms, no multi-year lock-in.

What is included in a managed IT service?

Ours includes the service desk, device management, Microsoft 365 administration, network and server monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, backup with tested restores, and monthly reporting. We take the whole estate rather than selecting only the parts that are easy to support.

How quickly do you respond to IT issues?

Critical issues — anything stopping the business working — get a 15-minute response target. Everything else is answered the same business day. Standard cover runs 8am to 6pm UK time, and the Complete tier extends that to 24/7.

Can you work alongside our existing IT person?

Yes, and it's common. We often act as the second line behind an internal IT manager, taking on monitoring, patching, security and out-of-hours cover while they focus on the business-facing work. We can also cover holidays and absence.

Do we have to replace all our hardware to start?

No. We work with what you have and flag anything genuinely unsupportable or insecure, with a replacement plan spread over time. Nobody needs a capital expenditure surprise in month one.

Are you able to help us achieve Cyber Essentials?

Yes. Much of what Cyber Essentials asks for — patching, MFA, endpoint protection, access control — is what we deploy as standard, and we produce the configuration evidence and documentation the assessment requires.
